Twinkle Stars
Ages 2-3
THE FIRST STEPS INTO INDEPEN-DANCE
The Twinkle Stars program is designed for our youngest dancers to help them build coordination, rhythm, and early independence while learning to follow directions in a structured class setting.

They'll begin to learn the fundamentals movements of Ballet and Tap dance styles, which all other styles are built on, giving them a solid foundation to start their dance journey

Note parents are welcome to observe class from the lobby, but may not participate directly in the class.
“Our son is in the 2-3 class and he really enjoys it! We weren’t sure how he would like it at first, but he gets so excited to wear his tap shoes and follow directions pretty well! He’s so excited to dance with his friends!
Krystal Rainwater, parent
Program Style Focuses

Ballet
Ballet is the fundamental, technical form from which all other dance styles stem. It teaches young dancers important terms and techniques to maintain their proper form. Twinkle Star students will focus on this style to develop basic technique and coordination.

Tap
Tap is a percussive style of dance that focuses on rhythm sounded by the feet. The feet become musical instruments with the sound they create. For our twinkle star students, this class will develop an initial sense of rhythm, timing, musicality, and discipline.
