Pro Track

Ages 9 - 11
TRAINING WITH PURPOSE & PROGRESSION

Pro Track is designed for students who are ready for increased expectations, greater personal responsibility, and a more focused approach to dance education. Dancers continue building strong technical foundations through Ballet, Hip Hop, and a variety of supplemental dance styles throughout the year.

Students develop increased strength, flexibility, coordination, and performance skills while exploring additional disciplines including Contemporary, Acro, Poms, and Technique. As dancers mature, they are encouraged to set goals, challenge themselves, and take pride in their progress both inside and outside the classroom.

Ballet

Ballet is the fundamental, technical form from which all other dance styles stem. It teaches young dancers important terms and techniques to maintain their proper form.  Twinkle Star students will focus on this style to develop basic technique and coordination.

Hip Hop

Hip-Hop comes from an urban, street type of movement. This includes a variety of styles including popping, locking, and breaking, as opposed to the fluidity of Ballet movement. It is danced primarily to Hip-Hop music.

Cheerleaders With Pom-Poms

Poms

Poms is a high-energy, precision-driven style rooted in synchronized movement and sharp, deliberate technique. Dancers develop clean execution, strong teamwork, and the performance quality required to bring a routine together as a unified group. It is performed primarily in competitive and sideline settings and is closely associated with spirit and athletic performance traditions.

Contemporary

Contemporary style expresses feeling with a focus on body lines, balance, and sustained extensions. It is an emotionally driven dance form that embraces versatility, floor work, and improvisation, allowing dancers to explore natural body movements and storytelling.

Acro

Boutique is certified in teaching acrobatic arts. Acro classes includes movements where students focus on gymnastic tricks and upper-body strength. These skills can be beneficial in all other types of dance. Acro will focus more on flexibility tricks and movements that could be incorporated into an Acro routine, such as chin and elbow stands.

Technique

This class focuses on improving the technique of turns, leaps, and proper form across all styles. Students  build movement skills that carry over into every class they take. Push your limits and gain knowledge of each basic area, while developing the body awareness and muscle memory needed as a well-rounded dancer.

Jazz

Jazz combines the basic techniques and encompasses a wide variety of other styles. This class includes strengthening warm ups, stretching exercises, and dance combinations that derive from basic technique.

Stretch & Strength

Stretch is a class dedicated to building the flexibility, strength, and body awareness that support every other style of dance. Through targeted conditioning and guided stretching, dancers develop the physical foundation that directly enhances their technique and performance across all disciplines.

Tap

Tap is a percussive style of dance that focuses on rhythm sounded by the feet. The feet become musical instruments with the sound they create. For our twinkle star students, this class will develop an initial sense of rhythm, timing, musicality, and discipline.
