“I switched to Boutique after growing frustrated with a lack of professionalism as another studio in town. My daughter loves it. The last studio only taught the kids a routine to perform at the recital. Boutique is actually teaching her the techniques and she is actually excited for dance class every week again."

Program Style Focuses

Ballet
Ballet is the fundamental, technical form from which all other dance styles stem. It teaches young dancers important terms and techniques to maintain their proper form. Twinkle Star students will focus on this style to develop basic technique and coordination.

Hip Hop
Hip-Hop comes from an urban, street type of movement. This includes a variety of styles including popping, locking, and breaking, as opposed to the fluidity of Ballet movement. It is danced primarily to Hip-Hop music.

Musical Theater
Musical Theater is a versatile style that draws from the technical foundations of ballet, jazz, and tap to create a uniquely theatrical form of movement. Dancers must master stylized technique, turns, partnering, and rhythmic footwork while maintaining strong character intention and performance quality throughout. The style demands both precision and expressive artistry.

Contemporary
Contemporary style expresses feeling with a focus on body lines, balance, and sustained extensions. It is an emotionally driven dance form that embraces versatility, floor work, and improvisation, allowing dancers to explore natural body movements and storytelling.

Acro
Boutique is certified in teaching acrobatic arts. Acro classes includes movements where students focus on gymnastic tricks and upper-body strength. These skills can be beneficial in all other types of dance. Acro will focus more on flexibility tricks and movements that could be incorporated into an Acro routine, such as chin and elbow stands.

Technique
This class focuses on improving the technique of turns, leaps, and proper form across all styles. Students build movement skills that carry over into every class they take. Push your limits and gain knowledge of each basic area, while developing the body awareness and muscle memory needed as a well-rounded dancer.
